Maryland CFC FFL Will Work at NASCAR 2009 Events for WWP

CFCFI-Habitat for Humanity Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Last August 8, 2008, the Couples for Christ Foundation, Inc. (CFCFI) and Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HfHP) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the BPI Executive Lounge in Makati. The MOC formailzes a partnership in furtherance of the two group's respective pro-poor programs. HfHP is a Christian group which aims to provide decent homes to the marginalized while CFCFI has its own Work with the Poor (WWP) ministry that is focused on community development and evangelization. Frank and Gerry Padilla present Frank's book, 40 Days with Mary, to His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI last April 5, 2008. The Padilla couple were in the Vatican to attend the annual meetings of the Pontifical Council of the Laity and the Pontifical Council of the Family, to which they have been appointed by the late Pope John Paul II representing Couples for Christ.
